Where to begin... You'll have more chance of winning the lottery than booking an appointment within a fortnight with a preferred doctor. The waiting area is cramped and seems like a hotspot for spreading germs etc. The practice is a bit backwards as well when it comes to electronic prescriptions. They take an inordinate amount of time to process them, meaning if you choose not to use the nearby Boots (the slowest pharmacy in Britain) and get medication delivered through a third-party, it'll take ages. My advice: look for an alternative doctors surgery if you want one that's remotely efficient.
I have had many hospital appointments in recent year due to breast cancer but my appointments with Dr Merrell Vaughan were always exceptional. Her kindness, sincere caring, and concern made everything better. She is one of the reason that I am doing very well now. Words cannot describe how grateful I am.
I am really happy with this surgery. The receptionists are friendly and answer the phone quickly! My G.P Dr Cheryl Conely goes out of her way and is so caring, as is Dr Melanie Strachan. Wendy Newby the midwife is fantastic and took great care of me during my pregnancy.
