First time in my adult life that i"ve had trainers that actually fit! Thankyou!
I am a fit and healthy 31 year old. Prior to my 52 initial appointment I researched the possible treatment options and decided on cryosurgery. However, during the appointment I was told I could not have treatment on my heal as I needed to go away and have a think about it! After explaining that I had already researched it and was happy, I was referred to a second opinion to get the go ahead. This time I was told my skin was too thin for treatment at the moment and to come back when it was thicker. I walked out of the appointment while being invited back in a few days. Cryosurgery is used all over the body, including areas with much thinner and more sensitive skin, so I still don't understand why I could not receive the treatment. Some years ago I had a beauty spot removed from my forearm by cryosurgery and even though that skin is much thinner it resulted in no problems. Maybe I am being cynical but my experience has left me feeling like I was refused treatment to get the cost of an extra appointment from me.
