Waited 45 mins for any type of service. So slow! They open only one counter when there's millions of people waiting in line? Such a joke! Won't use again
The post office is at the back of McColls and has four counters, but on occasions only one is operating while a couple of assistants are behind the counters and engaged on other duties.There are a number of transactions undertaken by the counter staff which take a considerable period of time and as a result the queue gets longer and longer and those waiting become frustrated.It would be of considerable assistance if one counter could be devoted to those who want to undertake speedy business which does not involve checking and verification of documentation.I went into this Post Office today 5th October 2018 at 12.30pm just to post a letter to find that the post box next to the counter had been removed - so I found a post office without a post box and a long queue at the counter while the supplementary post office desk near the exit was unmanned.Admittedly there is a sorting office some 60 yards away but to remove a post box from a post office really is a retrograde move!
Closed on Sundays despite advertising otherwise. When available usually moody. Don't blame them though, McColl's is a depressing shop to be situated in.
