Fantastic estate...well worth preserving. A historical property made famous by being the home and studio of former Beatle, George Harrison.
Went there in 1971 while working on Thamesfield. It was amazing to be so near this great member of The Beatles.
Visited the gates of Friar Park in July this year. Was quite a surreal experience to be standing outside the home grounds of one of my most favourite musicians of all time. After a stop at the Row Barge Inn for lunch and a pint, I walked for a little while up the road outside the grounds with my fiance and noticed a beautiful floral aroma that filled the air. Would really like to know what sort of plantation it was. A very enjoyable visit to the gates of the Harrison family home. Happy to have made the journey across the world to be there, it was a dream come true :)
