Really disappointed in the reception staff.. Didn't even offer us a robe took us straight to our massages. The maasage was good, however told us to wear our clothes.. Again not offered robe. We were sent to have our lunch gave us a certain time for the our next work. We were having lunch they called the restaurant to say our next thing had started 10 min ago. We explained the times that were given to us, they apologised for the miscommunication and told us we can wait until 5 pm and have free afternoon tea .. As they are fully booked. We decided to leave.
This was given to us as gift For our wedding anniversary . The spa was very poor the staff had a job to stay awake. The beds around the pool had towels on but nobody on them. At know time did any staff come in to check on its guest. There was know dressing gowns know slip on foot wear. If was not nice at all. If you don't use the spa it's ok. If I had paid for this I would be asking for my money back.
Nice hotel. Good facilities and comfortable room. The social areas were comfortable and spacious. The room was well furnished and presented, if not in a modern style. The staff were friendly. Ample parking in an easy to access location.
Lovely hotel. Good service and clean, comfortable rooms. Great if you're visiting Le Manoir for dinner. Nearby and convenient.
We had a great stay here with a Treatwell offer and were so surprised by the calm of the setting and quality of what was included. The spa was clean, perhaps tired but clean and had everything you would expect and the treatments were also good. The food at dinner was outstanding, we had such a good meal and the wine selections were also of a high quality. Breakfast was a little let down as they forgot to serve my eggs and didn't remember even when reminded until we were getting up to leave at which point I didn't need them...and they were of course cold. We were also given a room with an accessible bathroom which wouldn't have been an issue other than we had been expecting an normal bathroom with a bath tub so were a little disappointed. Overall a great stay and would consider coming back!
